I sought treatment for my dad who was diagnosed with Parkinsonism, or a type of Parkinson’s called Lewy’s Body. The very first day of treatment I saw a marked improvement in my dad, specifically in his stance and gait, and his demeanor changed to much happier and joyful. Since getting treatments, my daddy has been able to walk better, balance better, sleep better, and have less tremor. His overall system has been helped greatly and manifests in different ways. He’s more joyful and seems to enjoy joking around like he used to years ago. He also no longer has any dizziness, and he doesn’t have very many “freeze frame” moments like Parkinson’s sufferers have. The improvement of quality of life for my dad is very important to me and I have really noticed the changes in his health for the better. My dad enjoys the treatments very much and looks forward to each visit.
My dad and I enjoy the special care and attention that Amy gives, and the fact that she pays great attention to details in the needs of a patient on every level—mental, spiritual, emotional, as well as the physical. I sought treatment to prepare for surgery. I had read that acupuncture and Chinese medicine can lead to faster healing and recovery. Amy asked both about physical and emotional issues that could affect my health and recovery. Treatments were relaxing and I am always glad to come in. I got in good shape physically and mentally with treatments and I had an incredible surgical experience! My recovery from surgery was quick and uneventful. I did not suffer a lot of common problems others who have the same operation encounter. I believe the acupuncture played a large role in this. I even saw additional improvements from treatments—my overall health improved and stress levels reduced. I used to suffer from IBS and that has been mostly resolved. When I compare my results and experience with others who did not get acupuncture and herbs before surgery, there is no comparison! Without a doubt, I would recommend this treatment for others.

I sought treatment to improve my health and overcome constant headaches and other health problems. Prior to acupuncture, I had tried weekly massage, chiropractic, physical therapy, and a ridiculous amount of prescribed muscle relaxers, with no resolution. With acupuncture, I enjoyed almost immediate relief of stress and anxiety symptoms including my headaches and tight muscles. I was able to eliminate almost all other methods of pain relief because of acupuncture. Additionally, I experienced improved digestion and mental focus. I didn’t even realize how much anxiety I experienced each day until it was gone! I was very sensitive to the needles, so that wasn’t my favorite part; however, it was worth the relief I felt. Although not all of my health problems have been cleared thus far, I would rate my overall experience with acupuncture as positive. Because of my success stories, several other people have tried acupuncture. I absolutely recommend this treatment for others.

I came to acupuncture out of curiosity, and then for treatment of a torn meniscus (knee injury) and general health. At first I was hesitant to have needles stuck all over me, but Amy carefully explained the procedure. She was at ease inserting the needles and would ask how it felt. When I asked further questions, she would demonstrate, such as turning the needle once it is inserted and the different sized needles. I like to know as much as I can about any medical procedure I am having done. With the meniscus treatment Amy would heat the needles—the treatment was excellent. I would rate my overall experience as very good. I have told a number of people about it and the advantages of going there. I absolutely recommend it to others! Amy is a very caring person and extremely professional.
